Great article! We are all responsible for ourselves and our families, not to some amorphous greater good agenda of the day. Yesterday I cancelled my longtime subscription to the once great Wall Street Journal after they published (1) an article on how the Germans have evidence that 6 people on a 50 foot sailboat blew up Nordstream and (2) an article praising measures taken during the Covid panic, such as the vaccinations which saved millions and the lockdowns which saved even more. I'm not paying for someone to write that drivel which others accept as gospel because it appeared in the WSJ. Press on and good luck!
Great article - got to think about the education system our kids are going through and what sort of future that is preparing them for. If you are ever in Glasgow and have time for a coffee let me know.
Great piece by an interesting character. He points out a simple fact, forgotten by government and media; self reliance, expertise and strength of character are the elements that build our world and get us through good times and bad. Corrupt governments and blood sucking derisive organizations take and destroy, because that is all they know.
Captain Scott Campbell would enjoy reading Softwar by Jason Lowery. It might clarify his thinking and help him become more optimistic. I'd be happy to send him a copy, if provided with an address.
Top notch as usual, though the substack extra sign-in verification is starting to piss me off. I guess they want to track the readers too.
I learned that:
- the cook is the second most important person on board
- there are simulators for ships !!
- Australia is in pretty much the same boat (no pun intended) except I don't we think we have any Albanian drug dealers masquerading as refugees.

Nothing intelligent in the one para on India.
Tour de force again Scott. I wonder what awaits us as a society over the next few months and years.
Bravo Scott …Bravo! Hooked and subscribed. Be safe as you live your fullest life.

Great piece of writing. You asked where the life raft is these days. I believe you threw it overboard when you sold your bitcoin.
Bravo! Captain.
Preparation, redundancy, self reliance are the only answers as the promote profligacy and punish prudence regime circles the drain.
Only enter the life raft when you have to step up to board.
